The ‘Coming Home 2′ Seminar with Ed Dale + Co…

Last weekend, I was one of the keynote speakers at Ed’s ‘Coming Home 2′ event…  It was actually 4 years since the Thirty Day Challenge team put on a public event Australia; so the room was packed.

30DCHOME - 30DC Coming Home Seminar - Pete WilliamsIt was an amazing success, with tonnes of great feedback and huge amount of #30DCHOME tweets.

My presentation will be online (somewhere) shortly, so I’ll be sure to let you know where you can get it then.

Since the event, there has also been a bunch on chatter online about it.. so I thought I’d collate some of it here…

Enjoy.

Three marketers who I highly respect flew in for the event and this is there notes:

Now when it comes to highlights… It had to be when Brent Hodgson showed his true Samurai skills by saving Ed’s laptop…

    Hi Pete,

Really enjoyed your presentation at the conference. I am only just starting out in internet marketing, and the biggest thing that you (and others) really drove home was the point that this is a business, not a hobby. This helped my focus and I am starting to get things done that previously I just procrastinated.

I told a friend about your post-it note direct mail trick and he loved it!

Pete – loved your presentation. It was a great reminder that even on the internet we are still reaching out to real people that have a place in the real world. And off-line marketing can be used to strengthen our position on-line.

Going analogue was the best bit of your presentation for me.
Something we ‘online business owners’ tend to forget about!
