Spare Time, Geeky Kickstarter, A Magic Whiteboard + October Marketing Ideas [Noise Reduction .79]

Hey Party People!

So, with less than 100 days to go this year, what’s the action plan?

What needs to change for you to lift your standards, and make the next 100 days so much more impactful than the last 250? There has to be something! There’s always something!

A lot can happen in 100 days… and it all starts with a decision! A decision to say: I will…, I can…, I no longer…, I refuse to accept…, My family deserves…, I demand…

Get disturbed, and let us know what we can do to inspire, support and advise!

Let’s kick it into the next gear.

Pete

The Amazing Magic Whiteboard
http://preneurmarketing.com/magic-whiteboard
Dom just mentioned this to me yesterday after our Platinum Advisory Board session, and I nearly wet myself with excitement. Magic Whiteboard is a whiteboard on a roll that sticks with static to any flat surface. You can take down your sheet and put it back up again many times without it losing its static cling. Just use standard dry erase markers, erase and rewrite as many times as you need. I couldn’t order mine fast enough.

The Newsletter That Became a $100M Business Selling Stuff to Dudes
http://preneurmarketing.com/thrillist
Thrillist is a vast network of blogs and email newsletters that will tell you what (very trendy) stuff you want and then shuttle you to an e-commerce operation where you can buy that stuff. In some cases, Thrillist even manufactures the goods it sells. Melding content to commerce, the service creates a potentially perfect—if vaguely insidious—circle of materialism.

So What’s Noise Reduction? Well, we all know there is so much crap out there on the web, especially in the business /marketing space — and it’s hard to remove all the noise to find the stuff that’s actually valuable. So we started a really small (almost) weekly e-mail with just a handful of the cool, noteworthy, and important stuff we stumble across each week. This post is one of those editions.

Want to Get These Noise Reductions Direct to Your Inbox? Easy! Just register to download Pete’s book below, and you’ll automatically be added to the newsletter list.
