Outsourcing is an ever popular topic at the moment and in this, Pete and Dom talk about identifying tasks that can be outsourced, both in your own list of responsibilities and those of your staff, to improve effectiveness and profitability in your business.

Pete’s entire personal productivity framework is based around two key principles:

  • Core: Any task that is critical to the success of the business (read: increasing profits) that only I can do
  • Mechanics: Any action, or sub-task, that the business requires, which someone else can do, to 85% or greater ability than me.
